The DeLorean is a car everyone recognises from the doors alone.

And yet most people end up putting it on a shelf where they look down onto it - the one angle in which a DeLorean just looks like a grey car.

On the wall you look along it. Then you see the wedge, the flank, the cabling at the back.

Drawn for this set

This mount is drawn for set 10300 and for nothing else. Not a universal clamp that roughly fits around it, but a carrier that grips the Technic structure inside the model — where the set gets its strength from.

Putting it up

This one has some body to it. Drill into brick, concrete or a stud behind the plaster. If plasterboard is your only option, use cavity anchors rather than ordinary plugs.

Screws and plugs are not included, and that is deliberate: every wall needs different fixings. Not sure what yours needs? Send us a message, that is quicker than the wrong plug.

Worth knowing

The LEGO® Icons Back to the Future Time Machine 10300 set is not included. You are buying the wall mount; the model in the photos is only there to show how it hangs.
