The Eagle is the ugliest beautiful thing humans have ever built. Gold foil, spider legs, nothing aerodynamic about it, because in a vacuum it does not need to be.

Which is exactly why it should hang free. On a shelf it is a collection of protrusions; on the wall it is about to land.

Drawn for this set

This mount is drawn for set 10266 and for nothing else. Not a universal clamp that roughly fits around it, but a carrier that grips the Technic structure inside the model — where the set gets its strength from.

Putting it up

This one has some body to it. Drill into brick, concrete or a stud behind the plaster. If plasterboard is your only option, use cavity anchors rather than ordinary plugs.

Screws and plugs are not included, and that is deliberate: every wall needs different fixings. Not sure what yours needs? Send us a message, that is quicker than the wrong plug.

Worth knowing

The LEGO® Icons NASA Apollo 11 Maanlander 10266 set is not included. You are buying the wall mount; the model in the photos is only there to show how it hangs.
